To support the professional growth and unique teaching needs of Rutgers-New Brunswick’s nearly 1,900 lecturers, TIIP launched a Lecturer Community of Practice during the 2025-2026 academic year. Through monthly virtual gatherings focused on sharing teaching strategies, instructional innovations, and reflective practice, the community fostered meaningful collaboration, inspiration, and new ideas that participants have brought back to their classrooms.

Dr. Yanhong Jin has been awarded a Fulbright Distinguished Scholar Award.

In early June of this year, the Rutgers Department of Food, Agricultural, and Resource Economics hosted colleagues from the Northeast Agricultural and Resource Economics Association at the beautiful Molly Pitcher Inn in Red Bank, New Jersey.    

FARE Professors, Seowoo Lee, Assistant Extension Specialist, and Brian Schilling, Director of Rutgers Cooperative Extension, were invited to testify on May 28, 2026, at the NJ Assembly Committee on Agriculture and Natural Resources on the impact of rising fertilizer and other input costs on the economic viability of New Jersey farms.
