For Current Students in the EBE Major
We have nine faculty members who serve as EBE Major Advisors, and each student in the EBE major is assigned a dedicated advisor. Your advisor is here to support you, so we encourage you to meet with them at least once each semester to discuss your course plans and progress toward graduation.

I. EBE Major Advisor
Every EBE student is assigned an academic advisor. You will keep the same advisor throughout your time in the major.
You receive your advisor information by email at the beginning of each Spring and Fall semester.
You can also find your advisor online through MyMajor:

- On the right side of the page, you will see your Academic Advisor Code with a link to your advisor’s information.

II. EBE Undergraduate Program Director (UPD)
For special requests such as course substitutions, study abroad course planning form, experiential learning contract, please contact the Undergraduate Program Director (UPD), Elise Yu, at elise.yu@sebs.rutgers.edu. For example, if you need a course substitution in order to graduate in your final semester, the UPD can assist you.
If you need an SPN for any EBE course, please contact the course instructor directly rather than the UPD. You can find the instructions here.
III. SEBS Office of Academic Programs (OAP)
For questions and requests related to academic policies & procedures, such as credits overloads, academic standing, transfer course preapproval, and other adminitrative records, please contact the Office of Academic Program (OAP), which handles these matters.
If you have questions about financial aid, academic support resources, CORE requirements, or your overall academic progress, you can reach out to the general advisors and deans in OAP.
